The revisions have been introduced in line with approvals from the National Pensions Regulatory Authority and are designed to provide greater clarity and encourage long-term retirement savings.
WHY ARE THESE CHANGES BEING MADE?
The revised contribution allocation and withdrawal terms have been introduced to strengthen the long-term sustainability of members’ retirement savings while preserving flexibility to meet short-term cash needs. The changes also align the Micro Pension Plan with the approved product framework and reinforce our commitment to helping members achieve better retirement outcomes in a compliant and transparent manner.
WHAT THIS MEANS FOR MEMBERS?
The updated terms apply to the Micro Pension Plan accounts effective 1st July 2026. Members are encouraged to familiarise themselves with the revised contribution allocation and withdrawal conditions when planning their savings and any future withdrawals.
