Patrice Nkhono is a Malawian Legal Practitioner and Senior Partner in Commercial/Corporate law at Mbendera & Nkhono Associates in Blantyre, Malawi. He has worked on several cases with institutions like NBS Bank, FDH, the Reserve Bank of Malawi and National Bank of Malawi.
He has served on several boards including the Board of the Reserve Bank of Malawi, Nampak Malawi Limited and FDH Financial Holdings Ltd.
He has also been Executive Committee Member of the Malawi Law Society (MLS) and represented MLS to the African Regional Conference on Corporate Complicity in Human Rights Violations in Johannesburg, 2009.
Patrice holds a Masters Degree in Law (LLM) from the University of Warwick, UK, and is an expert in Corporate and Commercial Law.
Nana Kumapremereh Nketiah is the CEO of Omega Capital Limited in Ghana.
Nana is an experienced strategist, corporate revivalist and research consultant with particular expertise and experience in private equity/venture capital, hedge funds, real estate and investment management industries. Prior to joining Omega, Nana worked with All-Time Capital Ltd and Databank, all in Ghana.
Nana has over 14 years’ experience in the investment banking industry in Ghana and has held high level managerial positions including Lead Fund Manager, Director, Chief Investment Officer, and Managing Partner.
He serves on several boards including Omega Capital Ltd, Edendale Properties PLC and CORE Financial Services Ltd Malawi. He holds a Bachelor’s degree and an MBA from the University of Ghana Business School, Legon. He is a member of the Institute of Directors, Ghana.
Stewart is a graduate from the University of Stirling, UK and currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the Roads Fund Administration.
He was previously the Chief Executive Officer for ADMARC Investment Holdings Company Limited, and a Non-Executive Director for First Merchant Bank. He has also previously held critical positions in Malawi Revenue Authority and Sunbird Tourism Ltd.
He serves as a Director for some notable organisations including Malawi Property Investment Co. Ltd., Illovo Sugar (Malawi) Ltd., Capital Developments Ltd., Capital Investments Ltd. (Malawi), Electricity Supply Corp. of Malawi Ltd., Trust Finance Ltd. and Access Communications, Inc. (California). Stewart also served on the board at INDEbank Ltd and Malawi Development Corp.
Mr. Daniel was Group Finance Director at NICO for many years and his experience spans insurance, retirement funds management, accounting, investments management, corporate advisory, (mergers, acquisitions, etc), project management and business start-ups.
Tom has served on the board of several companies including NBS Bank; NICO Zambia; Chichiri Shopping Centre; Blantyre Hotels; and Malawi Stock Exchange.
He currently owns Prudential Investments limited, a private consultancy and investment holding company, of which various financial restructuring and investment assignments have been undertaken.
These include institutions like Alliance Capital Limited, BROLL Malawi; Liberty Health; Credit Reference Bureau (CRB); Omega Securities; NBC Limited; and IZWE Loans.
Tom holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce from Kerala University in India, and is a Fellow Member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, Member of the Society of Accountants of Malawi (CPA Malawi) and Associate Member of the British Institute of Management.
Afriyie is co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Axis Pension Trust, a licensed pensions management company in Ghana. Afriyie has a thorough understanding of Investment Management and Administration business; skills acquired from his 13 year industry experience.
He pioneered the establishment of Axis Pensions Group with operations in Ghana and Malawi. Axis is today the second largest private pensions administrator in Ghana with over GHS1.2b of assets under management.
Prior to founding Axis, Afriyie worked at Databank. During his six year stay at Databank, he established and managed employee benefit schemes for many blue chip organizations. Afriyie was in charge of institutional funds management business at Databank where he guided the firm to develop a positioning strategy for pensions and endowments funds.
Afriyie is a graduate of the University of Ghana Business School with a bachelors’ degree in Business Administration (Banking and Finance option). He is married and blessed with three children.
