We are embarking on an aggressive drive to grow our customer base in Malawi over the next few years. We seek to employ a highly motivated person as Sales and Business Development Manager. If you have a track record of leading sales teams in insurance, pensions or banking industry.

Job details

1. Direct and oversee sales, customer service and product development activities within the firm;
2. Lead the development and implementation of sales strategies;
3. Design pension schemes and benefits packages for corporate clients;
4. Lead the team to provide periodic reports to trustees, employers and scheme members;
5. Contribute to preparation of pension scheme reports;
6. Keep up to date with products and competitors
7. Any other duties assigned by the CEO
1. A Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Actuarial Science, Economics, or Business Administration;
2. An MBA will be an advantage;
3. 5+ year’s managerial experience in sales in Banking or Insurance or Pensions industry;
4. Excellent sales and negotiation skills;
5. Good business sense;
6. Ability to motivate and lead a team;
7. Initiative and enthusiasm;
8. Excellent communications and people’s skills;
9. Must demonstrate strong persuasion and problem solving skills;
10. Must be conversant with Ms Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access;
11. Must have a valid Driver’s License;
